Carol Maxine (Marling) Anderson, 75, of Main Street, Cameron, W.Va., passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Bishop Hodges Care Center in Wheeling, W.Va.
She was born April 8, 1939, in Cameron, W.Va., daughter of the late Glen Marling and Louella Howard Hudimac.
She was a Christian by faith. She was active in martial arts, loved to travel, and was active with Cameron Historical Preservation.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Lee Mason, as well as her second husband, William E. Anderson.
Surviving are two daughters: Kelly Mason Skritch of Moundsville and Lesly (William) Selby of Spokane, Wash.; two sons, Craig (Lori) Mason of Mounds-ville and William Scott Anderson of Morgantown, W.Va.; two brothers, John (Valerie) Hudimac of Raleigh, N.C. and Mike (Christy) Hudimac of Wheeling, W.Va.; two grandchilden, Kaitlyn Mason and Emma Selby; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1109 Second St., Moundsville, on Saturday, May 3, 2014, from 4 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 6 p.m., with Pastor Ronald Wilfong officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County Public Libraries.
