The Belmont County Drug Task Force, as well as other Belmont County law enforcement agencies, made several drug-related arrests Sunday and Monday.
On Monday, a raid at a home at 415 N. 8th St. in Martins Ferry at about 9 a.m. Monday resulted in the arrest of Benjamin Cutlip and Richard Flowers Jr. Cutlip is charged with three counts of trafficking drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drugs. Flowers is charged with one count of trafficking drugs.
In a separate case Sunday, three people were arrested on drug charges and one on sex charge.
Justin A. Baxter, 27, of 3301 Glen Road, Cambridge, was arrested by Bridgeport Police and booked on charges of possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and failure to appear. Bond was set at $5,250.
Brenda L. Zalesny, 49, of 105 2nd St., Yorkville, was arrested by the Belmont County Sheriff's Department and booked on charges of possession of heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments and endangering children. Her bond was set at $4,500.
Daniel S. Clark, 25, of 62274 Coen Road, Belmont, was arrested by the Belmont County Sheriff's Office and booked on charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug abuse instrument. Bond was set at $3,500.
Also arrested by sheriff's deputies was Jared J. Kimble, 24, of 117 Cove Road, Powhatan Point. He was booked into the Belmont County Jail on charges of two counts of unlawful sex with a minor/corruption of a minor, corruption of a minor with drugs and possession of drug abuse instruments. No bond was set.
Elsewhere Sunday, Kiana P. Wallace, 20, of 5075 Jefferson St., Bellaire, was arrested by the Belmont County Drug Task Force and booked on charges of trafficking in Schedules I and II drugs, possession of drugs and possession of drug abuse instruments. Bond was set at $10l,985.
The drug task force served a search warrant at 2 a.m. Sunday for the hotel room where drug trafficking was allegedly taking place. Wallace is being charged with trafficking crack cocaine and trafficking marijuana. Officers seized a substantial amount of drugs and cash.
Troy Dynel Redmond, 41, of Columbus was also arrested as part of that bust and is charged with two counts of trafficking crack cocaine.
