Alexa Jade Colucci, 17, of Moundsville, WV, joined the Lord Sunday, June 22, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Alexa is now a young angel of God, after a long struggle with cancer.
She was an upcoming Senior at John Marshall High School; and a catholic by faith, having attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Alexa enjoyed spending time with her friends and family; she liked to travel to the beach and enjoyed the sun and sand.
She found joy in crafting and cooking with her mother and aunts, playing cards with her pap, and riding her bike on warm sunny days.
Her never-ending willingness to fight through the hard times was an inspiration to us all.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Colucci; and great-grandmother, Jeanette Lipuma.
Survivors include her mother, Donna Colucci; her grandfather (Pap), John Colucci, aunts, Debbie Dantrassy, and Diane Kosky; uncle, Duke Kosky, cousins, Tim (Becca) Kosky, Doug (Kim) Kosky, Joe Dantrassy, and Nikki Dantrassy; and many more family members that loved her dearly.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Raju Antony officiating.
