Brent J. Studdard, 45, of St. Clairsville, OH, died Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling WV.
He was born June 8, 1969, in Wheeling, the son of James K. and Trixie A. Yurkovitch Studdard of Henerson, NV.
He was a Lutheran by faith, worked sixteen years at Yesco as an Electronic Supervisor and Electrician, joined the company of Daktronics, where he was an Electronic Technician and got to travel abroad and work at PNC Park and Heinz Field for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
Brent loved his video games, computers, electronics and was an avid Sci-Fi fan.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Studdard; paternal grandparents, Charles and Lillian Studdard and maternal grandparents, Charles and Geneieve Yurkovitch.
In addition to his parents, Brent was survived by a sister, Jennifer (Bradley) Bowerman of Summerset, SD; fraternal twin brother, Brad Studdard of Las Vegas, NV; two nephews, Michael Bowerman of SD and Travis Studdard of NV; an aunt, Linda Reinhardt of McMechen; and his wife of four years, Carrie Hanson Studdard and her daughter, Morgan McCord, both of St. Clairsville.
Friends will be received Thursday, July 10, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood/McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, Mc Mechen, where funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2014, at 11a.m., with Rev. Rodney Hubbs officiating.
Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard, WV.
