Ocenia S. Ebert, 79, of N. St. Rt. 2, New Martinsville, passed away July 13, 2014 at home with all her loving family around her.

She was born September 24, 1934 in Proctor, the daughter of the late Vesper and Bertha Hawkins Anderson.

She was a member of the Church of Christ; a homemaker; loving mother and grandmother; enjoyed spending her winters in Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, James Ebert, Donna Anderson, Bertha Wood; a great-granddaughter, Connie Litton; three brothers, Bob, Bill, and Glen Anderson; two sisters, Mary Stiles, Betty Wayne.

Survivors include seven children, Darlene (Roy) Yoho, Dave Ebert all of Proctor; Ben (Renee) Ebert, Jr. of Cameron; Anna (Todd) Wolfe of Moundsville, Betty Gibbs of Athens, OH, William (Taunya) Ebert of Barton, OH, Christina (Steve Wayman) Ebert of Proctor; grandchildren, Ray D. (Heather) Yoho, Bub Yoho, Melissa Anderson, all of Proctor, Michael (Bobbie) Anderson, Marky Anderson, all of New Martinsville, Zoe (Mark Yoho) Anderson of Proctor, Amy Silmon, Darlene Chalmers, Marlene Wilson, Chester Greathouse, Roseanne McWhorter, Ashley Greathouse, Carrie Estel, James Greathouse, Joey Greathouse, Jennifer Greathouse, Zack Greathouse, all of Wheeling, Alyssa Ebert, Chloe Ebert, both of Cameron, Holly Rice, Crystal Rice, both of Moundsville, Kayla Farley, Stephen King, both of Athens, Ben Wayman of Proctor; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 3rd St., New Martinsville, where services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Evangelist Dwight Williams officiating.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
