Dorothy "Dottie" Dean Richmond, 94, of Wheeling, WV, died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Wheeling Medical Park.

She was born November 9, 1919, in Wheeling, daughter of the late Dr. Osten L. Richmond and Mary Virginia Delbrugge. Dottie was a graduate of Mt. DeChantal Academy, retired dental assistant and was a member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church, Wheeling, where she was a member of the Women's Association. She was a very polished woman who lived for her birthday parties. Dottie was a local entertainer who impersonated many people throughout her lifetime and was once crowned as the Rhododendron Princess.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her very special friend, Sister Jane Francis.

She is survived by three cousins, Betty Ebert of Wheeling, Elda Jobes of New Martinsville,,WV and Eva Goddard of Proctor, WV; very special friend and caregiver, Jeri Parsons and her husband, Earl, of Valley Grove, WV, and two very special friends, Lillian and David Cale of Uniontown, PA.

Friends will be received Monday July 28, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, with Rev. Glen Baker Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
