Football: Magnolia Gets Best of Tyler Con.

MIDDLEBOURNE – Kage Rohde ran for 96 yards and a touchdown and Jacob Brill threw for 78 and also scored on the ground as Magnolia (1-2) held Tyler Consolidated (0-3) to 135 yards of offense in a 40-7 prep football victory Friday night. Brill also hit Eric Smith with a 20-yard touchdown pass.

Drew Keller (2-yard run), Yale Wetzel (7-yard run) and Grant Cain (30-yard interception return) all scored touchdowns for the Blue Eagles.

Jacob Highley went 68 yards for a Silver Knights touchdown as time expired in the first quarter. He led the way with 92 yards on 14 carries.
