Park Duo to Cheer at WLU

Wheeling Park’s Meghan Murphy and McKinley Kimmins have signed to continue their cheering and academic careers at West Liberty University.

Murphy was a four-year varsity member of the cheer team and a two-year member of the track team.

While at Wheeling Park, Murphy was a three-time state cheering champion and a four-time OVAC cheering champion. She also earned a regional cheering championship and was a member of the Patriots 2018 OVAC girls track championship team.

Murphy is a member of the National Honor Society and she holds a 4.2 GPA. She plans to major in biology.

Kimmins is a four-year member of the cheer team and a three-year member of the softball team.

Kimmins was a 2017 HOSA state winner in health education and a 2018 HOSA state winner in clinical specialty. She also holds a 3.75 GPA. She plans to major in nursing.
