Bonnie McGlumphy Now In Charge of Hundred Softball Program

By BUBBA KAPRAL

HUNDRED — For the fourth consecutive year, the Hundred softball program has a new head coach.

Bonnie McGlumphy is now in charge of the Hornets. Thelma Zirkle is the team’s new assistant. They replace head coach Lee Ann Snedden and long-time assistant Roger Tustin.

The new coaching staff inherits a roster thin on numbers. The Hornets’ roster totals just 11 players.

“We have a small group of girls but they are a super bunch of kids,” McGlumphy said. “They cheer each other on, give each other tips and pointers and support each other. Its a great group of girls.”

Right now all positions are up for grabs.

The Hornets feature three seniors to provide senior leadership. They are Elizabeth Keller, Emiley Matthews and Victoria Hawkins.

The senior trio will be supported by a like number of juniors. Madison Fetty, Sara Keller and Savannah Bragg bring added experience to the squad.

Youth is being served by one sophomore and four freshmen.

Kayla Matthews is the lone sophomore on the roster while Hannah Burdine

Adylyn Conway, Aubrie Hawkins and Mackenzie Burley round out the team as freshmen.
