Fish Fry Serves Up Food, Hospitality

BELLAIRE — St. John Central’s annual Lenton fish fries are more than just a place to eat. Like dozens of traditional Lenten events held throughout the area, fish fries also serve up a healthy dose of hospitality.

At St. John’s, the fish fry is held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the church hall on Tallman Avenue every Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can take out, eat-in (after 12;30 p.m.) or you may call ahead for pick-up or free delivery at 740-676-0051 – orders for delivery may be phoned in starting at 8:30 a.m.

The free delivery is for businesses and homes located in Bellaire, Shadyside, Wheeling, Benwood, Glen Dale, Moundsville, Warwood, Triadelphia, Neffs, Bridgeport, St. Clairsville, Yorkville and Tiltonsville and is done through the courtesy of the Bellaire Knights of Columbus. The menu includes: Coleman Fish sandwiches, Coleman Fish Dinners with two sides, pirogi dinners with one side, gnocchi dinners with one side, and cabbage and noodles dinners and one side. Sides include: cole slaw, french fries, sweet potato fries, mac and cheese, pirogi, gnocchi and cabbage and noodles.

All proceeds benefit St. John Central in Bellaire.
