Michael Baylous confirmed as US marshal in West Virginia

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A West Virginia state police lieutenant has been confirmed as U.S. marshal for the Southern District of West Virginia.
U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito says the Senate confirmed Michael T. Baylous for the post. He was nominated by President Donald Trump last year.
Baylous was the public information officer for the state police. He served the agency since 1994 and was previously in the Marine Corps Reserves in Cross Lanes.
