HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Marshall guard Jon Elmore has declared for the NBA draft for the second straight year.
Media outlets report Elmore announced Monday he is entering the June 21 draft but will not hire an agent. That means he has until June 11 to withdraw his name and return to Marshall for his senior season.
The 6-foot-3 Elmore led Marshall to its first NCAA Tournament berth since 1987. He set school records with 816 points and 244 assists this season as Marshall won the Conference USA tournament.
Elmore also declared for last year’s draft before withdrawing his name.
