Vargos Celebrate 50th
Andrew and Nancy Vargo of Wellsburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, April 24.
They were united in marriage on April 24, 1965 by the Rev. William P. Taylor.
Nancy Vargo is the daughter of the late Lacey and Violet Shultz. She is retired from West Liberty University, where she was employed by Sodexho Food Service.
Andrew Vargo is the son of the late Andrew and Helen Vargo. He was employed at Valley Camp Coal Co.’s No. 1 mine.
They are the parents of a son and a daughter. The family includes John at home and Leeannee Coen and her husband, Dwayne, of Beech Bottom.
A family dinner is planned on Friday to celebrate.
