Couple Marks 55 Years
Dick and Lynn Welsh celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, April 29.
They were married April 29, 1960 in the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Jeannette, Pa., with the Rev. James A. Strohm officiating.
Lynn Welsh is the daughter of the late John and Myrtle Parkinson of Jeannette. She is retired from the Ohio County Board of Education.
Dick Welsh is the son of the late Robert and Charlotte Welsh. He is retired from WesBanco Bank of Wheeling and is a U.S. Army veteran.
The couple has two daughters, Pastor Sheri Kernik of Pineville, W.Va., and Lisa (Jim) Bucon of Wheeling. They have seven grandchildren.
The couple celebrated with a family dinner.
