Bruce and Doris Elliott celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on Thursday, May 7.

They were united in marriage on May 7, 1948 in Belpre, Ohio, by the Rev. Mulligan.

Doris Elliott was born in Parkersburg. She is a homemaker.

Bruce Elliott was born in Jacksonburg, W.Va. He is retired from Weirton Steel Co. after 32 years in the blacksmith shop. He also belongs to the 25-year club.

They have 11 children. The family includes Bruce and Debbie Elliott of Bridgeport; Judy and Keith Skluzachek of Alexandria, La.; Bob and Debbie Elliott of Weirton; Mike and Walda Elliott of Weirton; David and Penny Elliott of Wellsburg; Gary and Linda Williams of Wellsburg; Gary and Eve Elliott of Wellsburg; the late Diane Lynn Elliott; Susan and Doug Ossman of Jewett; Brenda and Randy Williams of Wellsburg and Carol and Dave Maudie of Missouri. They have 36 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated at home with their family.
