David and Victoria Reitter of Weirton celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 9.

They were united in marriage May 9, 1970 at The Cove United Presbyterian Church in Weirton with the late Rev. Dr. G. Ousley Brown officiating the ceremony.

Victoria Reitter is the daughter of the late Earl and Marie Fodor of Weirton. She is a former employee of the Weirton Strip Steel Division and is employed at Brooke County Schools.

David Reitter is the son of the late Harry and Harriet Reitter of Colliers. He is a graduate of West Liberty State College with degrees in health, history and physical education. He is employed at Brooke County Schools as a history and health teacher and as the head basketball coach.

They are the parents of three children. The family includes B.J. Reitter and his wife, Gina; Jaime Lash and her husband, Sean; and Brent Reitter, all of Weirton. They have six grandchildren.

They celebrated the occasion with their family.
