Browns Mark Golden
Elmer and Margie Brown of St. Clairsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 12. They were united in marriage on June 12, 1965 in Powhatan Point.
Margie Brown is the daughter of the late Art and Clare Nelms of Powhatan Point.
Elmer Brown is the son of the late Charles and Edna Brown of Powhatan. He is retired from the Ohio Valley Coal Co.
They are the parents of two children, Dave (Jennifer) of Powhatan and Diane (David) Amend of Elm Grove, Wheeling. They have four grandchildren and one great- granddaughter.
Their son hosted a dinner in their honor on June 11 at The Farm Restaurant.
