Lewtons Celebrate 50th

Jay and Cecilia Lewton of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
They were united in marriage on Aug. 5, 1967, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Beech Bottom by the late Rev. Jack Allison.
Jay Lewton is the son of the late Charles and Ruth Lewton.
Cecilia Lewton is the daughter of the late Robert and Ethel Miller.
They are the parents of two children: Jay Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Martins Ferry, and Karen of Valley Grove. Five grandchildren complete the family.

Their children hosted a picnic at Brooke Hills Park to celebrate the occasion.
