Frederick (Fred) and Janet Jaquay of Elm Grove are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 31.

They were united in marriage on July 31, 1971, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church by The Rev. Robert Brous, S.M., officiating.

Janet is the daughter of Joan Pack and the late George Pack, Jr.

Fred is the son of the late William and Cordelia Jaquay. He is a retired supervisor with American Electric Power with 40 years of service.

They have three sons, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family includes Todd Jaquay and Allison, and their six children; Brian Jaquay and Jamie, and their three children, all of Wheeling; and Ty Jaquay and Linsey, and their daughter of Morgantown, W.Va.

They will celebrate with family at Myrtle Beach and a trip to the Dominican Republic.
