Celebrate Fall on a Train Ride From Dennison
DENNISON, Ohio — The Dennison Railroad Depot Museum is once again offering its upcoming train excursions for the fall season. All train rides will depart and finish at the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum located at 400 Center St. in Dennison.
Enjoy the crisp autumn air on a relaxing one-hour fall foliage train ride departing from the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum, heading east toward Bowerston, Ohio traveling over rare mileage seldom used for passenger trains. Enjoy cookies while aboard your relaxing that includes scenery, music, light history and delicious locally baked pumpkin cutout cookies.
The dates and times for these trips are:
Oct. 12, departing noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m.
Oct. 13, departing noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m.
Oct. 13, departing noon, 1:30, 3 and 4:30 p.m.
Oct. 19, departing, noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m.
Oct. 20, noon, 1:30, 3 and 4:30 p.m.
The Chocolate and Cheese Sweetheart Train Ride is a one-hour ride where you will enjoy scenery, music and sample local chocolates and cheeses. While you are enjoying those delicious treats your favorite love songs will be played during your relaxing trip. The dates and time for these trips are: Oct. 12, 4:30 p.m. ; and Oct. 19, 4:30 p.m.
Polar Express rides for the kiddies are slated for Dec. 5-8, and 13-15. Tickets are available now.
Train rides offer various seating options. Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 45 minutes before their train’s scheduled departure time. Reservations are required for all train rides and guests must reserve their tickets before getting on the train.
