Wine Tasting At Stifel Center
Oglebay Institute continues its 2014-15 Art of Wine season at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at the Stifel Fine Arts Center.
The evening will feature five wines from the Constellation Brands portfolio. Constellation is a leading international producer and marketer of beer, wine and spirits with operations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, New Zealand and Italy.
Matt Meyers of Constellation will lead the tasting. Guests will enjoy a buffet of foods prepared by Ye Olde Alpha, and have an opportunity to browse the Hart Galleries.
Wine selections for the event include: Ruffino Prosecco, a sparkling wine with clean notes of apples, pears and citrus accompanied by slight hints of hawthorn, wisteria and elder; Rosatello Moscato, a sweet white wine with aromas of oranges and a touch of mint; Hidden Crush Chardonnay, which boasts flavors of lime, lemon blossom, green apple, pineapple and white peach; Mark West Pinot Noir, a mix of black cherry, cola, strawberry, plum and soft tannins; and Ravenswood Besieged, a Sonoma County red with dark, rich full flavors of blackberry, black cherry, plum and cardamom.
