Photo Exhibit At Artisan Center

The Wheeling Artisan Center will host a photography exhibition by the Ohio Valley Shutterbugs Club, through Dec. 27 in the 3rd Floor Loft Gallery.

The Ohio Valley Shutterbugs Club was formed six years ago and meets regularly at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Artworks Around Town located in the north end of the Centre Wheeling Market House. The meetings are open to anyone interested in becoming a member of the group.

The purpose of the club is to expand everyone’s knowledge of photography and to help each other reach their full potential in the art of photography.

The group represents photographers of all abilities who want to improve their knowledge and skills. The group provides members the opportunity to show their work in a public forum as well as participate in training and critiques.

“The photography in this exhibit represents a range of subjects as well as skills. It’s a fine collection of images from around the Ohio Valley. I encourage everyone to stop in the gallery during December to see the show,” gallery exhibition curator Chris Villamagna said.

Participants of this exhibit include Giulio Cappelletti, Daniel Caron, Susan Crockard, Greta Foose, Dakota Lish, Patty Lish, Ted Kutzlo, Marge Kuzma, Dennis Niess, Bill Orkoskey, Fred Payne, Linda Reeves, Sharon Slokam and Len Smith.

The Artisan Center’s 3rd Floor Loft Gallery is open 10 to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 304-232-1810 or visit www.artisancenter.com.
