Marshall County Strings Benefit Concert to Take Place Tuesday

MOUNDSVILLE — The Marshall County Strings Program will present “Light the Night” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the John Marshall High School Center for Performing Arts.

The concert will feature an eclectic collection of music including original concert string works performed by the electric orchestra, chamber orchestra and string orchestra. Popular pieces include Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive,” Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and a medley from “The Greatest Showman.” The performance will be highlighted with unique light and glow elements.

Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the Moundsville Lions Club and the Marshall County Strings Program Scholarship.

The Marshall County Strings Program is under the direction of Shelby Genberg, Justin Jones and Alex Talkowski.
