PITTSBURGH — Greensky Bluegrass drew a crowd that packed into Stage AE in Pittsburgh on Thursday, February 7, 2019. The Steel City has been a stronghold for the band for many years, and the recent stop brought the band and their growing legion of fans to their first Pittsburgh show in a much larger concert venue.

In years past, Greensky Bluegrass has made regular touring stops at the Rex Theater on Pittsburgh’s South Side (with a standing-room only capacity of up to 600) and had been selling out the venue. More recently the band played the Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall (with a capacity of 1,047 seats), selling out that venue, too.

The band had no problem filling the 2,400-seat indoor venue at Stage AE with Billy Strings opening the show.

Greensky Bluegrass wrapped up the first leg of their winter tour this past weekend and next will resume touring next week with West Coast show dates in support their new album “All for Money.”
