Wheeling Symphony Orchestra’s Cello Trio Plays Free Lunchtime Event Tuesday

WHEELING — Wheeling Symphony Orchestra announces a WSO on the GO event, featuring a meet-and-greet with music director finalist candidate, John Devlin, and a performance from the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra Cello Trio.

The event will be held at noon on Tuesday at the Artworks area of Centre Market. It is free and open to the public.

The music doesn’t stop in Wheeling. Grab a bite to eat from any of the restaurants in Centre Market and enjoy a little midday serenade from the Wheeling Symphony as they entertain you for lunch. Plus, get a chance to meet Devlin, music director candidate and Brahms Symphony No. 4 conductor. WSO’s cello trio features musicians: Elisa Kohanski, Susanna Reilly and Will Teegarden.

“We love performing for our friends and neighbors at these lunchtime WSO on the GO events,” said Bryan Braunlich, general manager of the WSO. “We are thrilled that our friends at Artworks Around Town are hosting us once again in their beautiful space, and are grateful to the centre market management for helping make this happen. This month will feature an incredible trio who will perform an eclectic range of music from pop to classical and everything in between. We hope that everyone comes out to support the WSO, gets a chance to meet our music director finalist John Devlin, and has a fantastic lunch break in downtown Wheeling.”

Because of the generous support of our sponsors and donors, including title sponsor McKinley Carter Wealth Services, all WSO on the GO concerts will be free to the public to entice and encourage new audiences to become long-time supporters.
