Program to examine health impacts of cracker plants

WHEELING — Ned Ketyer, M.D., consultant for SWPA Environmental Health Project, board member of Physicians for Social Responsibility — Pennsylvania, and Climate Reality Project Leader; along with co-panelist Matthew Mehalik, Ph.D., executive director of the Pittsburgh-based Breathe Collaborative and its communications platform, the Breathe Project, will discuss the “Environmental and Health Impacts of Ethane Crackers and Shale Gas Development” at noon on Tuesday, July 16, at the Ohio County Public Library’s weekly Lunch With Books program in downtown Wheeling.

Lunch With Books programs are free and open to the public. Unless otherwise noted, they begin at noon on Tuesdays in the library’s auditorium. Attendees are welcome to bring a bag lunch, and complimentary beverages are provided.
