Summer Coffeehouse Series Concludes With Shortline Junction
NEW MARTINSVILLE — Local bluegrass band Shortline Junction wraps up the 2019 ArtsLink Summer Coffeehouse Series. The free show will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, on the lawn of the Francis Creative Arts Center at the corner of Maple Avenue and Washington Street in New Martinsville.
The Summer Coffeehouse series is sponsored by First Mutual Bank. Light refreshments will be served.

Band members include Rick Tincher playing the banjo, Ben Tharp on the guitar, lead singer Buggs Eddy on the bass and Dustin Terpenning playing mandolin. Terpenning is in several bands including Crandell Creek. Tincher has won Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland state banjo championships. Tharp along with his brother Tom had the well-known Tharp Brothers Band that played for 40 years. Eddy has his own band called Backwoods Boogiegrass Band.
