Halloween Puppet Show Comes to Moundsville Library

MOUNDSVILLE — The Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library will host the Pittsburgh Puppet Works at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, for a very special Halloween performance.

Back by popular demand, this professional puppet troupe will entertain children of all ages with the show “Inky’s Black Cat Blues.” Known for creating and performing “professional, hilarious, toe-tapping, engaging and all-around catchy puppet productions” for all occasions and any audience, the Pittsburgh Puppet Works is family entertainment with “real character.” The laughs and learning go hand-in-hand, and the artistry of the puppets is first-rate.

In this show, Inky wants to be part of the Halloween trick-or-treat frights, but who’s afraid of a cuddly cute kitty? Watch as Inky and his best pal Albert meet a cast of ghastly ghouls who pitch in to help Inky become the scariest cat ever.

It’s a freaky, fun tale filled with music, jokes and furry friends – and aliens.

This event is sponsored by the Robert Baker Family. It is free and open to the public.

The Moundsville Library is located at the corner of Fifth Street and Tomlinson Avenue. Call 304-845-6911 for more information.
