Festival of Sound: Wheeling Park High School’s Annual Holiday Extravaganza Opens Tonight
WHEELING — The curtain will lift on Wheeling Park High School’s annual Festival of Sound at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday, Dec. 13, in the J.B. Chambers Performing Arts Center.
It is the 25th anniversary of the Festival of Sound holiday concert extravaganza. This much-anticipated event continues with performances at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets for the performances are available online and in the main office of Wheeling Park High School and at the offices of Ohio County Schools, 2203 National Road in Elm Grove. Online ticket sales will incur a small convenience fee.
In-person ticket sales are available today until 3:30 p.m. at Wheeling Park High School. Seating for each show is limited and is general admission.
The availability of tickets for purchase at the door will continue, if available, up until show time. Doors open one hour before each show. Handicapped seating is available as well as handicap-accessible parking and drop-off in front of the center.
Parking for the general public may overflow to the school’s rear parking lot where patrons will have the option to follow signs as they walk through the building or ride a shuttle bus around to the front entrance.
The Festival of Sound is the premier holiday show throughout the region, and boasts a variety of the very best music coming from television, Broadway, jazz, sacred and secular traditions.
There will be something for every member of the community to enjoy.
