Pittsburgh Puppet Works Brings Holiday Show to the Ohio Valley

MOUNDSVILLE — The Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library will host the Pittsburgh Puppet Works at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, for a very special holiday performance.

Back by popular demand, this professional puppet troupe will entertain children of all ages with the show “Flurries With A Chance of Magic.” Known for creating and performing “professional, hilarious, toe-tappin’, engaging and all-around catchy puppet productions” for all occasions and for any audience, the Pittsburgh Puppet Works is family entertainment with “real character.” The laughs and learning go hand-in-hand and the artistry of the puppets is first-rate.

This show is full of merry jokes, festively classic tunes and a cheerful storyline. Do Christmas wishes really come true? Take a journey with Zip, a spirited snowflake, as she searches for a magical place where wishes come true. She’ll learn all about the “big jolly guy in the red suit” and meet a few special friends along the way, who have Christmas wishes of their own. It promises to be a most sparkly adventure!

This event is courtesy of Pittsburgh Puppet Works, provided in partnership with WQED as an Inquire Within program. It is free and open to the public.
