Celebrate Beethoven with Brew Keepers And The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra
WHEELING — Wheeling Symphony Orchestra announces the next WSO on the GO concert, Beethoven and Brews, featuring our Clarinet Quintet.
The performance will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at Brew Keepers in Wheeling. The concert is free and open to the public.
Beethoven turns 250, and the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra wants to celebrate it with a special WSO on the GO! Grab a brew and listen to WSO on the GO’s Clarinet Quintet as they play some unforgettable music written by the world’s greatest composer.
The ensemble will feature musicians: Dawn Posey (violin), Maureen Conlon-Gutierrez (violin), Katia Istomin (viola), Elisa Kohanski (cello) and Roi Mezare (clarinet).
“It’s Beethoven’s 250th birthday, and the WSO wanted to celebrate,” said Bryan Braunlich, general manager of the WSO. “We are so thankful to our friends at Brew Keepers for hosting our ensemble for this event. If you haven’t heard some of Beethoven’s chamber works, we couldn’t think of a better way for you to experience them. It is sure to be a fun and exciting night in Centre Market.”
Because of the generous support of sponsors and donors, including title sponsor McKinley Carter Wealth Services, all WSO on the GO concerts will be free to the public to entice and encourage new audiences to become long-time supporters.
