17th Annual Wheeling Heritage Port Car Show Scheduled for July 5

WHEELING — The 17th annual Wheeling Heritage Port Car Show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at the city’s Heritage Port, 12th and Water streets.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees and participants will be encouraged to wear masks, social distance and practice proper hygiene.

“In order to have the show, we need everyone to be respectful of the COVID-19 guidelines,” Russell Jebbia, director of public works, said. “The key is to have a great time while remaining safe and comfortable.”

Hand sanitizer will be available, but attendees will be encouraged to bring their own hygiene and cleaning supplies.

Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 vehicles registered, and cash prizes will be awarded for the top 20 entries. Door prizes will also be given out. Judging will be done by city of Wheeling staff and officials. Food and drinks will be available, and entertainment will be provided by The Spike Man.
