Marisa Scott is the Project Coordinator of the Prevention Department, Community Impact Coalition.
A branch of Youth Services System, Inc., of Wheeling, the coalition’s mission is to provide substance use prevention for the community.
Scott circulated a poster and flyer to area high schools inviting juniors and seniors to submit artwork which will be displayed at Artworks. Titled “#Real Talk,” Scott said, “the competition will give the kids a chance to express why they choose to be drug free. We thought it would be a good idea to see their points of view as young adults.”
