Lunch With Books To Continue … Virtually

WHEELING — For those who have missed Lunch With Books and other live programs for adults at the Ohio County Public Library, an initiative is being continued to compensate for the loss of physical programs at the library includes a series of Facebook and YouTube Livestream events.

The presenters will use their own equipment to broadcast each program live from their own location on the Lunch With Books Facebook page at facebook.com/lunchwithbooks/ and on the Lunch With Books YouTube channel.

Patrons can tune in to watch the live broadcast, or visit the OCPL’s livestream page (www.ohiocountylibrary.org/programs/lunch-with-books-livestream-editions/7283) later to watch the recording in its entirety.

The program for this Tuesday, Oct. 6, will feature an East Wheeling Clayworks studio tour. Join Adam and Beth Bedway for a tour of their East Wheeling Clayworks studio (including an explanation of why it’s located in North Wheeling) and a preview of what’s coming up over the next few months. Adam Bedway will conduct a pottery throwing demonstration and talk about the materials they use in their process of making pots — like the beautiful Lunch With Books soup mugs they created for the library.
