Short Film Festival To Hit Paden City Tonight

PADEN CITY — A sleepy little town along the Ohio River in Tyler County will play host to the Inaugural Ohio River Valley Short Film Festival today, Friday, April 9.

The brainchild of award winning film and television writer/cartoonist Dave Shelton (“Everybody Loves Raymond,” “National Lampoon”), the festival was created to bring national attention to this part of the Ohio Valley as well as providing a showcase for emerging and seasoned filmmakers around the world.

The festival will be held at the Paden City Library, 114 S. Fourth Ave., Paden City.

A “Step and Repeat” and awards ceremony will highlight the festival.

Awards will be given in the categories of drama, horror, comedy, documentary and Sci-Fi.

The event is sponsored by: King’s Corner Furniture, Alex King, Al Rec LLC, Dura Shield, Advanced Biomedical and Winslow Drake Investment Management.
