WHEELING — The next Lunch With Book program presented by the Ohio County Public Library will feature Wheeling in Photos: 1973-1985, with longtime local photographer, Michael Harvilla.

The program will begin at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at the main library downtown.

Anyone who has visited the popular Facebook group Memories of Wheeling is most likely familiar with Harvilla’s photographs of the city of Wheeling. Taken between 1973 and 1985 when Harvilla worked as a photographer with The Intelligencer, these black and white photos show changes taking place to the old familiar Wheeling landscape that many local people have never seen before.

Harvilla will share a selection of his personal favorites and takj about the background and context of each image as he remembers it.

Unless otherwise noted, the Lunch With Books programs begin at noon each Tuesday at the library. Guests are welcome to bring a lunch.
