WHEELING — It’s a big weekend for the Comedy Club at Wheeling Island, where the weekly comedy double header tonight will be followed by a special feature Saturday night with acclaimed comedian Tammy Pescatelli.

Tonight, Friday, June 23, the Comedy Club presents two great comedians for $10 in the showroom at Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack. The feature act will be Tanya Murray, and the headliner will be Keith Lenart. Doors open at 7 p.m., and showtime is 8 p.m.

Then on Saturday, June 24, the special marquee show featuring Pescatelli begins at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Pescatelli — known as “The Verbal Assassin” — has been featured on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” the Netflix special “Finding the Funny,” and numerous appearances on “The Tonight Show,” “The Talk,” “The View,” “The Howard Stern Show,” “Jay Leno’s Garage” and other shows.

Tickets for this special show are $25 per person for general admission. VIP tickets are also available.

This show is a 21-and-over event.
