LEONARD ULLOM

Leonard Gene Ullom, 83, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 20 2015, in the Ohio Valley Medical Center.

He was born in Jane Lew, WV, on March 16, 1932, son of the late William and Pearl Chatnum Ullom.

Mr. Ullom was a retired crane operator for the former Blaw Knox, a United States Navy Reserve veteran from 1950-1958 and a Protestant by faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, William Jr. and Bernard.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Sylvia June Schneider Ullom; daughter, Deborah (Dan) Richardson; grandson, Dr. Theodor (Katherine) Richardson; and siblings Robert (Joyce) Ullom, Geraldine Brannon and Shirley Wilson.

Friends will be received on Sunday, August 23, 2015, from 2-8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling, WV 26003, where services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 10 a.m.

Entombment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Marshall County Animal Shelter, RD 5, Box 210, 12th Street, Moundsville, WV 26041.
