BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

At 8:53 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to an address on Colerain Road, Colerain, for a welfare check on a resident, who was found to be fine.

At 7:52 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to Riley Road, Pease Township, for a domestic complaint.

At 6:33 p.m. Tuesday, sergeant responded to Beal Street, Colerain, for an animal complaint. A caller reported a very large owl standing outside staring at people. The caller stated he was not sure if the bird was hurt. Upon arrival, the sergeant reported finding a large hawk that went under a car, according to the report.

At 1:02 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to Patterson Hill Road, Bellaire, for a domestic complaint.
