BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
At 11:19 p.m. Wednesday, officers were out with a K-9 unit on a traffic stop near Circle K in Bellaire. A small amount of marijuana was found, according to the report, which stated there were 50 Amazon gift cards along with several credit cards and bank cards as well.
At 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, a complainant from Crestview Lane, St. Clairsville, reported someone went through his vehicle and his wife’s vehicle and took money sometime overnight.
At 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, a complainant from Nixon Run Road, Martins Ferry, requested something be done about the mud on the road from gas an oil trucks. The complainant advised he will call twice a day until something gets done. The complainant was advised to contact the Belmont County Engineer’s Office and Gulfport Energy directly.
At 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Cash Ridge Road, Shadyside, reported her ex was refusing to leave the residence.
At 11:18 a.m. Tuesday, a woman from Mount Hope Road, Flushing, came to the station and reported $100 stolen from an unsecured vehicle sometime overnight.
At 7:13 a.m. Tuesday, units responded to Center Street, Colerain, for a call in which a male and female reportedly were screaming and fighting. The couple was separated, and a deputy took the male to work, according to the report.
