Wheeling Elks Announce Students of the Month

WHEELING – The Wheeling Elks Lodge No. 28 has announced its Students of the Month for October and November.

The October winners are Emily Croft and Justin Riggs, both seniors at Wheeling Park High School.

For November, Abagail Aston and Noah Neely, both seniors at Cameron High School, are the Elks Students of the Month.

Croft, the daughter of Jennifer and David Croft of Wheeling, is a member of the Key Club, the Science Competition Club and the Philosophy Club. She is a member of Young Life and a past Stifel Award winner. She is also a member of the Drug Free Club.

Riggs, the son of Kerrie and David Riggs of Wheeling, is a member of the Cross Country, Swim and Track teams. He is a Boy Scout patrol leader. He also serves as both a freshmen mentor and math tutor at his school.

Aston, the daughter of Teresa and Chad Aston of Moundsville, is the president of the National Honor Society. She is a member of the volleyball and softball teams. She is also a member of the Drug Free Club.

Neely, the son of Jodi and Robert Neely of Cameron, is a four-year letterman in both football and baseball, and a three-year letterman in basketball. He is active in theater and with the Drug Free Club. He was a five-year member of the Marshall County Livestock Club.
