WHEELING – In an effort to assist area charities with helping local families over the Christmas and holiday season, the Ohio Valley Street Survivors Car Club donated over $1,100 worth of toys to the House of the Carpenter and presented eight local charities each with a $300 check during a brief ceremony Monday at the Easter Seals Center in Wheeling. The club raised the funds through various car cruises and shows in the Wheeling area throughout the year, including the Oglebay Good Zoo Benefit Car Show. Catholic Charities also received a check from the club.
