Panhandle Donates Food, Cleaning Supplies to Belmont Co. ARL

Panhandle employees Bob Heldreth, left, and Trent Nicholson are shown delivering the supplies to Belmont County Animal Rescue League Executive Director Jennifer Woollard.

Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration donated nearly 500 pounds of dog food and several gallons of laundry detergent and bleach to the Belmont County Animal Rescue League on Monday.

Last week, BCARL volunteers took in 40 animals after they were found living in deplorable conditions at a Fairview house.

In addition to donating pet food and cleaning supplies, the Panhandle team also delivered newsprint from the Ogden Newspaper Printing and Technology Center that will be used to line the animals’ crates.

“This time of year is all about giving, and we’re grateful to the Belmont County Animal Rescue League for caring for these vulnerable animals,” Panhandle President Bob Contraguerro Sr. said. “We hope these supplies help keep the animals happy and healthy while they’re waiting to be adopted.”
