Making Progress: Beams Installed on Fulton Bridge along I-70

Large steel beams continue to be delivered and hoisted into place to rebuild the westbound Fulton Bridge as Swank Construction crews move forward on the I-70 Bridges Project. A nine-month closure of westbound I-70 between the Oglebay Park/Exit 2A and 16th Street/W.Va. 2 South Exit began earlier this year, allowing crews to perform demolition and renovation work on a number of bridges in that area, including the westbound Fulton Bridge. That section of highway is expected to reopen by Nov. 1.
