Free Legal Aid for Ohioans Wednesday

The Ohio Justice Bus will make its way to Martins Ferry on Wednesday for a bi-monthly free legal clinic.

MARTINS FERRY – The Justice Bus will be in Belmont County at the GRACE Presbyterian Church in Martins Ferry for the bi-monthly Free Legal Clinic.

The Ohio Justice Bus is a mobile legal aid office and technology hotspot that allows attorneys to travel through the state and provide legal assistance to Ohioans at no cost.

The Rev. William Webster, pastor of the GRACE Presbyterian Church, said, “This will be the first time the Ohio Justice Bus has been to our Free Legal Clinic. This is a terrific opportunity for our residence to obtain free legal advice.”

The Free Legal Clinic, which has been in operation for over 15 years, takes place at 408 Hanover St.. The next clinic is set for Wednesday, July 8 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Free Legal Clinic is a unique three-way partnership with GRACE Presbyterian Church, Southeastern Ohio Legal Services and the Belmont County Bar Association. It was designed to bring justice and high-quality civil legal representation to low-income individuals. This month joining the Free Legal Clinic will be the Ohio Justice Bus from Columbus.
