Gunshots Reported in Marshall County
MOUNDSVILLE – The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call along U.S. 250, more than 10 from Moundsville about 6 p.m. Saturday after a man said his truck had been shot several times, breaking the back window.
Police at the scene recovered two spent bullets, according to Chief Deputy Bill Helms.
That same day, a homeowner along W.Va. 88, near the Ohio County line, reported hearing gunshots and suspected damage to his home. A deputy was dispatched to the house but was unable to find signs of a gunshot, such as spent rounds or shell casings.
The matters remain under investigation as of Tuesday.
