WV Navigator will host an enrollment event in Wheeling for free, in-person ACA Marketplace Health Insurance enrollment.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, representatives will be available at West Virginia Northern Community College at 1704 Market St. Appointments are not necessary and walk-ins will be taken all day.

The Affordable Care Act’s annual open enrollment period is currently underway. Anyone who is not eligible for insurance through Medicare, Medicaid, or employer-based insurance may be eligible to purchase insurance under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage provisions.

About 97% of those who enroll receive subsidies to make the insurance more affordable.

Although open enrollment will officially end Jan. 15, those seeking coverage as of Jan. 1 must enroll by Dec. 15.
