Wheeling Elks Lodge 28 Names Students of the Month
Wheeling Elks Lodge No. 28 has announced its students of the month for October and November. The October winners are Victoria Finley and Maverick Lemasters, both seniors at John Marshall High School. Olivia Rosenthal and Dylan Lucas, both seniors at The Linsly School, are the November Elks Students of the Month.
Finley, the daughter of Cassandra and Michael Finley of Wheeling, is captain of both the volleyball and softball teams. She is the vice president of the student council. She is also active in Young Life and the Drug-Free Club.
Lemasters, the son of Tracey and Mark Lemasters of Moundsville, is a captain and four-year member of both the football and wrestling teams. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. He enjoys riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers in his spare time.
Rosenthal, the daughter of Nina and Kyle Rosenthal of Wheeling, has served as class vice president during her freshman and sophomore years, and has been a Prefect during her junior and senior years. She is a member of both the tennis and cross country teams. She is also a student volunteer with the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra.
Lucas, the son of Jessica and Tad Lucas of St. Clairsville, Ohio, served as class president during his sophomore year, and has served as a Prefect during his junior and senior years. He is a two-year member of the National Honor Society. He was also a two-year member of the bowling team.
