Members of the Mt. Olivet Lions Club recently put together bags for more than 50 residents at the Cameron Healthcare Center as part of its Christmas project. The group collected items such as no-slip socks, candy, stuffed animals, snacks, hand sanitizer, tissues, handmade dolls made from washcloths, jewelry, lotion and Christmas decorations. The Moundsville Honor Guard also donated American flag blankets for the military veterans who reside there. The club received donations from many in the Ohio Valley including staff members at Uncle Pete’s, the West Virginia Division of Highways and others.
