Rotary Club Passes Leadership Torch, Donates to Wheeling Health Right

The Rotary Club of Wheeling celebrated its annual Changing of the Guard on Tuesday afternoon at Oglebay Park Resort, while also making a sizable monetary contribution to Wheeling Health Right. Outgoing Rotary President Anthony “Rico” Ruiz passed the mantle to Jamie Crow at the Wagon Shed Shelter at Oglebay, while recalling the good works of the club over the past year. In accepting the role, Crow said the Rotary will continue to make a positive impact throughout the community. Among those positive impacts was an $8,000 donation to Wheeling Health Right that came through the club’s spring fundraiser. New Health Right Executive Director Anne Ricci gratefully accepted the donation.
